DTS will not play

I rip my DVD's with MKV and choose DTS as audio.
Allthough my mediaplayer (Medi8er) shows DTS 6 channels I only get 2 channels to hear through my Denon a/v which shows 2 channels as source.

What can I do to correct this?

if you have your amp connect to your pc i had a simular problem i solved it by whilst playing an mkv (i use ffshow with Windows media play) i right clicked on the blue ffshow icon and uder settings some where there is a tick box for dts and ac3 tick them both and restart windows media player hopefuly thats should now show up on your amp dts/dolby as long as your amp is set on auto.
