Vision Impaired Audio Track

#1 Post by dmfrey » Tue Jan 06, 2015 3:17 am

I recently re-installed my mythtv backend with mythbuntu 14.04.1. I previously never noticed there was a vision impaired audio track on my bluray rips. I never knew this existed, actually.

Now, whenever I play these rips, i the vision impaired audio track plays as well. Is there a way to disable this track so that when I rip these disks, it is no longer there?

You can uncheck the track when ripping (or remux the mkv and drop the track) but there's usually no way to identify those tracks automatically.

What is odd is they never played before. Now they play for every mkv that I select the AC3 English audio track.

Play with what? Standalone? VLC? If the track is muxed first or the only one flagged as default, it's possible that it's played over other tracks in the file.
