Same source title id multiple times

Post by satkin2 »

Hi,

I've just scanned a DVD (Mad Men - S02 Disc 1) and it's returned 9 titles for me to choose from. When I've previously used MakeMKV, each title has had a Source Title ID that corresponds to the title in VLC, so I've been able to work out which titles to select pretty easily.

This time, however, 7 of the 9 titles are showing as Source Title ID: 01, with 02 and 03 for the others. In VLC the titles I need to rip are 3-7.

I don't understand how to pick the correct titles to correspond to the episodes as they're all the same title ID. As you'll see below, 3-7 are > 45 minutes, but even then, it appears I can't just select based upon time. E.g. VLC track 3 46:58, MakeMKV track 3 46:55.
Using direct disc access mode
Title #1 was added (3 cell(s), 0:20:35)
Title #1/0/1 was added (4 cell(s), 0:26:20)
Title #1/0/2 was added (6 cell(s), 0:46:18)
Title #1/0/3 was added (6 cell(s), 0:45:09)
Title #1/0/4 was added (6 cell(s), 0:46:10)
Title #1/0/5 was added (6 cell(s), 0:46:46)
Title #1/0/6 was added (1 cell(s), 0:00:00)
Title #2 was added (1 cell(s), 0:00:22)
Title #3 was added (7 cell(s), 0:46:55)
Title #4 was added (6 cell(s), 0:46:18)
Title #5 was added (6 cell(s), 0:45:09)
Title #6 was added (6 cell(s), 0:46:10)
Title #7 was added (6 cell(s), 0:46:46)
Title 3 in VTS 1 is equal to title 1 and was skipped
Title 4 in VTS 1 is equal to title 1 and was skipped
Title 5 in VTS 1 is equal to title 1 and was skipped
Title 6 in VTS 1 is equal to title 1 and was skipped
Operation successfully completed
Is there an easy way to know which tracks to select when source title id is the same across multiple tracks?

Many thanks
