1.12.3 streaming bug

i know if says it is soon to be removed but upnp streaming it is now broken might be intentional but when ever i start stream it ends right after i hit ok to the message about it going away.
anyway i guess my real question is when this is gone how will we be able to play disks without backing them up first when this is gone.

Noticed the same. Have switched back to prior version as this is the main way I use the App - to be able to play disks on iPad via VLC.
Any way to convince to keep the steaming feature?

yeah i also went back to 1.12.2 the only thing i could see replacing this that would be better in some ways worse in others is if after opening the disk it would just create a virtual drive with the unencrypted disk that would work well but then you lost the networking function but could get the menus working in vlc
