I just learned ARC cannot process some codecs and was having a problem trying to stream TrueHD 7.1 and wanted to know what everyone else does for ripping true lossless audio and maintaining 100% compatibility.
I may need to re-rip all my important movies as I converted them through handbrake and it appears I only have access to "AC3 5.1" in PLEX. One I even had set to AAC Stereo...
Should I re-rip my movies and leave them straight .MKV if I want the best audio and if so how do I play TrueHD or other Dolby audio? This is kind of a 2 part question sorry... one for the rip and one for ARC channel capabilities if anyone happens to know. I notice in PLEX I can define which Audio to use.
