Made my first copy, but no sound?

Under the branch tree I checked full surround and stereo, is that maybe why?

Almost always when users have this situation, it ends up being an interaction between whatever software player they're using and the audio format. For example, DTS audio is common on discs but, by default, is not supported by Windows Media Player.

The MediaInfo utility can show you lots of details about your .mkv files, including the format of the audio tracks.

A player like VLC has support for a wide range of audio formats out of the box.

I'm also having this same issue but other languages that are downloaded are able to play but not the english version. This is an issue with blu-rays only so far. I have purchased the software, the sound doesn't play on multiple video software including jellyfin, vlc, and windows media player. I have tried selecting only the english audio and none of them and the result is still unable to copy over the english audio. Happening on multiple Blue rays at the moment

Hey, I ran into something similar a while back. Quite the opposite however - there was no English audio after copying from a Blu-ray, even though other languages worked fine.

What fixed it for me was checking if the English track was in DTS-HD MA or another format that some players struggle with, especially if it’s a secondary or hidden track. Some ripping tools don’t handle those well by default. So listen what dcoke22 says, there are probably format issues.
