Mac BD-Java... Missing but needed?

Hi All,
Just curious about the message that I got in MK about Java missing that go to http://www.makemkv.com/bdjava/ for more information... Does this apply to Mac, and if so, I'm assuming that download from Java.com will be the best solution, yes?
