Basic cheapest external, to do on an M1 for watching on my phone

Post by andyloc@hotmail.com »

Have an M1 iMac, and don't have many, but ones I have Blu-Ray, I want to have on my iPad and phone as well.

So what's the cheapest basic external drive to use with a iMac, just basic use to convert.

Amazon UK/eBuyer link ideally would be nice to make sure get exact one.

Also is it easy? Just have a remastered old TV series that's now on Blu Ray, so quality will be better.

Thanks

The Verbatim 43888 will most likely work out of the box with an old Pioneer drive inside it. There's a possibility it will come with a LG BU40N inside it instead of the Pioneer, but that drive can be flashed to work as well. If you want to buy something that'll definitely work out of the box, Asmcom is the seller for Europe on this forum. MartyMcNuts might be able to ship to the UK as well.
