Running MacOS 12.6.5

Just updated to latest 1.17.3 version.

When launched I'm getting this error message...

"MakeMKV" cannot be opened
because the developer cannot be
verified.

MacOS cannot verify that this app os free
from malware.

Then it give me two options, Move to Trash or Cancel

Any ideas on how to get it to launch. Haven't run the application in at least a year.

tell apple its your computer and you can run what you want lol.

i i think its called gatekeeper or something turn that off then you can run programs apple does not approve of.

Yeah, Billycar11 is right. Apple is, to put it kindly, a bit over zealous here.

Safely open apps on your Mac

In any case, there's a one-time procedure you need to go through to get your Mac to open MakeMKV.

(Side note, the MakeMKV developers could notarize MakeMKV to simplify things [for users anyway].)

Just right click and choose open. You’ll only need to do that once.

Just updated to 1.17.4 and getting this error, the steps in the link are not valid for the current MacOS.
