Not able to open .IFO in 1.6.4

Post by cybersonik »

In MakeMKV 1.6.3, I navigate to a VIDEO_TS folder from an already ripped disc and open the .IFO, after which MakeMKV does its thing. In MakeMKV 1.6.4, I am not able to select an IFO anymore - which in turn prevents me from converting to mkv. Am I missing something?

Hi,

I can confirm the problem. Neither Blue-Ray index files nor DVD index files are recognized anymore. Please fix!

+1. 1.6.3 just expired, I installed 1.6.4 and can't open any .iso files to rip. Tried installing the DASPI package just to see if that made a difference and it didn't.

Same problem here, also installed dsapi just in case that was a requirement.
IFO files not selectable at all.
Also tells me it can't find any usable optical drives - is that because I installed the dsapi component, or simply because I don't have any media physically in the drive? I never saw this in the previous versions even without a disc in the drive. On a new macbook pro i5.

Edit - removed daspi and now it shows my MBPs optical drive again as available, no more "can't find any usable optical drive" message.

No joy with IFO's though, whether opening from the GUI or just trying to drag and drop things onto the program.
