Is there going to be a version of Makemkv that runs natively on Apple Silicon?

Any chance of a Universal build rather than just X86_64 for the new M1 Mac's?

I would be happy to hear if the new M1 Macs can run MakeMKV with Rosetta at this time util ported. Does anyone know if it does now work with Rosetta?

I have successfully used 1.15.4 on a M1 MacBook Air with Big Sur 11.1.

"Working on" and "optimized for" are two different things. Even if the Intel emulation on the M1 isn't super fast, it is fast enough to run MakeMKV.

So MakeMKV works on Apple`s M1 CPU too? Maybe it`s a mistake? I heard only a special software optimized for Apple M1. Maybe you talking about Intel i3 in Macbooks 2019 ?
I can assure you, MirandaJO98, that I have one of the new M1, 8-core CPU + 8-core GPU MacBook Airs from the end of 2020 (I do not have the 7-core GPU model). MakeMKV runs using Apple's Rosetta 2 technology.
