Best external BD drive for Mac?

LibreDrive? Why? Which brand and model?
Also, if possible it would be great if the drive came in a housing and wasn’t too large. Should be able turn rip all DVDs and BDs and should already be region-free or be able to be made region-free.
Any help gratefully appreciated.

I’ve had issues with my LG slim external drive not recognising some episodes in a box set. Just a few random episodes out of 189 episodes. Whereas those same episodes play fine in my PS3. Seems like a compatibility issue with the LG. Seems a bit temperamental on those specific episodes (4 of them).
