I've been using MakeMKV for a while now and have ripped various DVDs & Bluray discs with it for a while now but seem to suddenly be having trouble with ripping one specific DVD. What is strange is that I encounter read errors when getting MakeMKV to load it, but the built-in macOS DVD Player reads the disc fine and even plays it back perfectly.

Here is some information about the drive from MakeMKV, which is an LG BP50NB40 which has been flashed to 1.03 MK.

What I also find strange is that when MakeMKV errors out when reading the disc, it also no longer detects it in the drive despite not being ejected.

Here is my debug log which shows that there are 3 read errors. I've already tried wiping down the disc & even see it opens up properly via the built-in DVD player software with the OS so I'm at a loss.

Perhaps try cleaning the disc again. That DVD Player can play it is no guarantee that it can be read properly by MakeMKV. Also, try Manual Mode (https://makemkv.com/manualdvd/).
