Quarter of my conversions not successful

I'm on OSX High Sierra with a Pioneer BDR-XDO7B. Some of my Blur Ray Audio disk rip perfectly and I can convert them to PCM for my music server. About a quarter of them make the MKV folder but do not convert properly. Sometimes I get a mono files or stereo files instead of multi track. This last time it DVDAE says the files are still protected. I just reached the end of my trial period and I'm happy to buy the software but not if it isn't reliable. Any thoughts. Thanks for any help!
