I am using version 1.10.4 for Mac, the evaluation period has expired and I cannot reset not matter what I try, I have even enter the beta key but still get the same error.

When you re-entered the beta key, did it accept it? Or did you get the evaluation period expired before you entered the key?

Clicking Help->Register and entering the beta key is SUPPOSED to reset the 30-day Bluray capability timer.
