hello,

I am experiencing problems with handbrake and MakeMKV. I followed the instructions by pointing the libs to the application as indicated in the following link

http://drbobtechblog.com/handbrake-can- ... heres-how/

but the error I get is the following:

file/libaacs.c:272: get_aacs_data(): libaacs not initialized!
libbluray/bluray.c:836: aacs_open() failed!

does anyone have the same problem?

thank you
Fabio

I may have the same issue but on windows. My handbrake log says "No usable AACS libraries found!". This is for handbrake 10.3 64-bit and MakeMKV 1.9.9. I copied the libmmbd64.dll to the handbrake folder as libaacs and libbdplus. I have a 10.0 version of Handbrake and it works fine with the same dlls. If I use the latest libaacs from video lan with handbrake 10.3 then it says it can't find some symbols. I think there are some symbol mis-matches between different versions of libaacs/Handbrake/MakeMVK. I'm guessing Handbrake has made some updates to the way it communicates with libaacs that MakeMKV hasn't implemented yet. You could try to use and older version of Handbrake until MakeMVK is updated. Works fine for me now with Handbrake 10.5 64bit using MakeMKV's renamed libmmbd64.dll.
