Installed App on MAC and asking for registration key

I just installed the app and when I open it I get tis message

This application version is too old. Please download the latest version at http://www.makemkv.com or enter a registration key to continue using the current version.[/b]" and I verify it was the latest version.

Same for me. I tried to open MakeMKV, and got the "this application version is too old" error. I went to the site and dl'd the most recent Mac version, which sadly is the same as my installed version, and installed it again. Unsurprisingly, I got the same error. What are we to do? Seriously.

So, I found the thread directing me to the beta key. The key was rejected x2. Rebooted, tried again, same thing. Read some forum entries, thought I'd try one more time, and voila, it opened fine. Mysterious tech problems are irksome.
