"Fatal Error" after updating iMac

In 2023, I purchased MakeMKV permanently (for my iMac) for ripping blurays. This week, I made major updates to my iMac. Now, when I try to open MakeMKV, I get a message saying "Fatal Error."

What is going on? What should I do? Thanks.
