Beta key expired (am I stupid?)

Hi :-)

I know this is a classic, but it seems I tried everything to no avail ...
I just downloaded a fresh copy today (v. 1.10.6) for OS X (Mavericks 10.9.5), deleted the old one as I've done before, but it seems the evaluation period isn't reset, so I can't use the software.
Have we gotten to the point, where I can buy a license key, or is it still by free beta key, and if so, how do I make it work again?

Yup, I am ... got the beta key from the announcements section and copied into the registration field.

We're actually due for a new key in a few days, so do NOT feel stupid about asking. :)

Yes, 1.10.6 has been released long enough to have had the key replaced once already...
