Can't get anything to work

Post by MovieGuy34 » Fri Aug 05, 2016 2:48 am

Either it says my drive doesn't have a disk or it gives me this error:

DEBUG: Code 0 at @ye;*W9s.@]g_30^_I:29395195
Error 'Scsi error - ILLEGAL REQUEST:COPY PROTECTION KEY EXCHANGE FAILURE - KEY NOT ESTABLISHED' occurred while issuing SCSI command AD010..080002400 to device 'IoKit:IOBDServices:39726b33daaf2687:TSSTcorp BDDVDW SE-506BB TS00'

Can't read AACS VID from disc - most likely current AACS host certificate is revoked by your drive
Highest AACS version is v50 , MKB saved as /Users/lon/.MakeMKV/MKB_v50_OUTCAST.tgz
The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted

Any ideas? I'm not smart enough to figure this out on my own.

If the disk isn't being detected in the drive, that is usually caused by the operating system "forgetting" how to talk to the drive. Since this is a USB drive, you can reset the operating system's parameters by unplugging the drive, then plugging it back in after the system notices that it is missing.

As for the actual reading of the disk, are you getting errors with ALL disks (BD and DVD), just BDs, or just one particular BD?

Just one disk could be an error in the directory area of the disk, often just a surface dirty enough to distort the laser, causing a read error.
