'Failed to Initialize' when opening MakeMKV
I have seen this topic posted previously but haven't come across any solutions. I am running Mac 10.15.5 and have tried installing all current and previous versions of makemkv. Each time I open any version of the application I get a warning "Failed to Initialize" and the application quits. I have tried searching and deleting all relevant folders from library/preferences as well as restarting and reinstalling many times. I never had a problem with this on previous versions of MacOs. The only related forums have said that their problem just went away on its own. I have not been so lucky. I have also tried using a sudo command in terminal with no luck. I am frustrated beyond belief and just want to be able to start ripping DVDs again. Help!!
