Anyone having issues opening the .dmg installer file for 1.17.6?

I downloaded 1.17.6 version of makemkv for mac os. I'm running beta mac os, but then I tried opening another .dmg file, and it opened without issue.
I tried checking if I get that open bypass in security settings, didn't. Verified the md5 has on the .dmg, camem back verified, working.

After troubleshooting, I opened disk utility, clicked file in the top menu bar, file > Open Disk Image - Selected the make make 1.17.6 dmg, then was able to mount the disk in disk utlity. Right clicked on the makemkv_v1.17.6 > show in finder. The makemkv disk opened with, was able to drag and drop on my desktop (away from the already installed makemkv app) and got the security prompt. Went into privacy and security, clicked the 'open' button for makemkv, and then the 1.17.6 app opened, working.

Not sure why this happened
