Hey,
I am using MakeMkv for years and i encountered no problems with my ASUS BW-12D1S-U and MakeMkv 1.14.5.
But since two days, after using Toast 16 to burn a disc, the burnt disc was not recognized by High Sierra and i got this message " The disc you insert is not recognized"...
The finder was not seeing the disc BUT Toast 16 was seeing it and MakeMkv also?!?
So i thought that the problem was due to the system and i update to Mojave. But nothing changed.
MakeMkv is able to see and rip the Bluray disc. But i can't read it with Bluray Player Pro as the finder don't see the disc.
I must say that i tested a DVD and everything is fine. I can burn a bluray disc with toast but at the end, it is not recognized.
So, is someone knows what's happening and how to fix this bug?
Thank you
Bluray disc not recognized on High Sierra and Mojave
Re: Bluray disc not recognized on High Sierra and Mojave
Hello again,
i finally found how to resolve this weird behaviour of the finder in high sierra or mojave.
I simply reset the NVRAM and everything is fine now.
I can see, read, extract any bluray discs without any problems.
Thanks
