My first test of the program was on "The Tale of Desperaux" Blu-ray. After some processing I got this message:
Opening files on harddrive at /Volumes/TALE_DESPEREAUX/
Evaluation version, 30 day(s) out of 30 remaining
The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted
Failed to open disc
I tried again with "Tinkerbell" Blu-ray and got the same message.
The program did not recognize my external Blu-ray drive, but I used the "Source" function to navigate to the "index.bdmv" or "MovieObject.bdmv" and start processing.
Thank you,
Sam

Re: The volume key is unknown
Please make sure that you use the latest version - 1.5.2 . If you are using the last version and your drive is still not recognized please enable debug log per instructions on http://www.makemkv.com/faq/item/8/catid/6 and post it here with information about your drive (drive model , internal or external). Do not send any files from blu-ray discs, only the log.
