Get error "invalid port destination"

Post by sadcaper »

When ripping "The Open Road" blu ray with MakeMKV, getting the following error message:

Saving 1 titles into directory /Users/TheMartins/Movies/BD Rips
Error 'OS error - (ipc/send) invalid destination port' occured while reading '/BDMV/STREAM/00001.m2ts' at offset '1041494016'
Error 'OS error - (ipc/send) invalid destination port' occured while reading '/BDMV/STREAM/00001.m2ts' at offset '1041494016'
Failed to save title 0 to file /Users/TheMartins/Movies/BD Rips/title00.mkv

Then it stops and the title does not work. Not sure what the issue is as this is the first movie I've had that has gotten this error. Only have the DD track selected, and tried it with/without subtitles and got same result.

Any ideas?

Error is indeed strange. I would check for scratches or dust on disc, can't think of anything else.
Please enable "log debug messages" in preferences, restart the application, and see if any additional errors would come out.

With the same disc? Can you make a disc backup or copy all files from disc in finder?
