How long to get key

Hello!

I purchased a licence for MakeMKV, also to get rid of expiring Beta key
I have not received the key yet (in the email, it said, I would need to contact MakeMKV, which I did). So it seems to had issues or the process is not automatic. Do you know, how long it takes to receive the new key? As the Beta key is expired, I can also not jump back to Beta key while waiting.

It is my understanding that what should have happened is after PayPro Global accepted payment, they should have emailed you a key. It seems that PayPro Global has run out of a stock of keys to give to customers. They kept accepting payment and told people to contact MakeMKV for a key. Undoubtedly Mike, that author of MakeMKV, was not expecting this to be the case.

I have faith that Mike will fix the situation so that PayPro Global has a stock of keys again and those who have already paid get a working key for the software. Unfortunately I don't have any insight into when all this will get fixed.

Well... I can't reply toward the license situation as myself went to buy a license and the store was down... Concerning considering we upgraded our computer setup for this software.

Regardless, I would HIGHLY recommend that everyone downloads the latest version to save a copy, next change your system time back BEFORE July 30th 2025 and then open up MakeMKV after updating your system time & date. This gets around the Licensing issues and allows the Beta License to continue... Not the best solution but a solution that we are grateful for!!

I can't believe this actually works, but it does! Or, at least it did when I tried a DVD. Going to have to try a blu-ray next. I swear I tried this in the past before I read about it here, and it DIDN'T work. Oh well, at least it does now. Thanks!

There is zero reason to set the date an entire year prior.

I just set mine to July 17, 2025, and it worked fine.

Well, considering that setting the system time too far back would cause issues with key retrieval... yes.

It looks like PayPro Global expected to be MakeMkv directly to send the link, and they weren't aware of the situation.

I purchased the license key on August 2nd, received an email from PayPro Global with the purchase details and on it they wrote to contact MakeMkv support to get the key, so I did it.
After 2 days they hadn't replied yet, so I contacted PayPro Global support, and they emailed MakeMkv support themselves, they got no answers as well. on August 6th I contacted again PayPro Global and they refunded me, saying MakeMkv support didn't reply to them at all, and the only thing they could do was refunding me while waiting for an answer from MakeMkv.

Well, i guess all we can do is waiting for answers.

What are you confused about? It's a simple script to automate the process every time you launch MakeMKV, and then automatically sync it to the correct time.
