Hi,
Just to secure unsecure people about the new procedure on debian base distribution.
I'm running solydx (debian) and there is no ffmpeg install on my system. I thing they switch to libav so if i try to install any package from ffmpeg everything will be messing up. So i tried the procedure with ffmpeg on the page http://www.makemkv.com/forum2/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=224.
ffmpeg is install in the tmp directory so no mess on the system. it is just longer to install makemkv
Everything went fine and i'm now running makemkv v1.8.7
