As the title says, since upgrade to v1.8.7 on GNU/Linux conversion from Blu-Ray to mkv and then to mp4 (using handbrake) no longer works.
v1.8.7 creates mkv files but even these play back slooowwwwly in smplayer, vlc and everything else I've tested with.
Use handbrake to convert to mp4 and all media players report the resulting mp4 as an invalid file.
File length looks about right so I suspect a 'fix' actually broke makemkv.
It worked flawlessly with v1.8.6 so I would gladly roll back to that version.
Where can I download that version from?

I'm using 1.8.7 time now in Gentoo with none of the issues you mention and have used Handbrake 0.9.9 and Handbrake SVN to convert with no issues on my laptop, phone and tower. What Distro are you in?
