I'm currently trying to convert HD DVD files to MKV to play on my Dune HD Duo. So far with little success. Has anyone had any success with this ? The Dune plays MKV files but not those from HD DVD's.

Maybe it doesn't support the audio format(EAC-3) from HD-DVDs?
Black Rain has DTS so if you have that, give that a try and see if it will play on your Dune player.
