makemkvcon command line

Hello, I'm integrating makemkvcon into a script and I'm having some difficulties.

I'm not sure how to enter paramters/switches into makemkvcon and the format they should be in.

Any guidance and a few examples would be greatly appreciated. I'm trying to for example get the info and mkv a disc thats under "/media/DOOMSDAY"

So far, not matter how I type it in all I get is
