Cannot install makemkv-oss-1.7.6

When I run
it ends in an error with
Fedora 16
Gnome Version 3.2.1
kernel: 3.3.8-1.fc16.x86_64
I previously installed 1.7.3 and 1.7.4 without a problem. Upgraded because I need to rip a DVD and the previous version expired.
