Running Ubuntu 24.0.2 Using
ARM 2.13.0
MakeMKV 1.18.1

I had been using system for some time with previous beta version of MakeMKV. Not sure what version but it was 4 months ago that I installed it. Ran through 130 DVDs and Blu-ray disks, successfully.

Took a couple of weeks off and next time I ran it, I got an error saying my beta key had expired. So, I downloaded 1.18.1 bin and oss. Both installed successfully. Next time I ran I got error. Syslog below.

I don't think I can go back to previous version, since beta key is too old?
I have been working with ARM forum, and it doesn't seem to be a problem with ARM.

Having the exact same issue but my ARM is running 1.17.9, Yesterday was using ARM no problem until Makemkv suddenly decided to stop in between jobs. was unable to update to 1.18.1, but I'm willing to accept user error on that

Posting because i seem to have resolved the issue, or at least the ARM devs did.

Needed to pull the latest version of ARM, In my case: "docker pull automaticrippingmachine/automatic-ripping-machine"
Then rebuild the container.

After that i was able to rip discs again.
