binary source package does not look like a tar archive

Hello,

I downloaded the binary source package from this link: https://www.makemkv.com/download/makemk ... 7.8.tar.gz. When I try to view or extract the files with the tar command, the message "This does not look like a tar archive". Here is a screenshot of the commands I use and the error messages:



Could something be wrong with the file from the download link?
