The key isn't the issue, I still get the same segfault and 'unable to open disc'.

But then you should get different errors. Please try makemkvcon info disc:0 with current beta key and post the log here.

Titles are skipped because they are shorter than you've set in preferences. What is the length of main title? Please send all blu-ray CLPI and MPLS files per http://www.makemkv.com/faq/item/8/catid/6

Giving a smaller value for the min length and the Afro Samurai disc is now streaming but only for about a minute until the program crashes with an error message "Fatal error occurred, program will exit".

The other disc reports that it uses an newer version of AACS and the title key is unknown which I reported with included url.

EDIT: Just tried a 3rd disc and this gives the fatal error the instant I attempt to play the stream. Will try to rip it to mkv.

Both discs ripped successfully yet fail to stream.

Hi there,

I had similar problems with 2 discs recently.
So now I am trying to disable direct disc access but it's quite unsuccessful so far.
( I am on ubuntu lucid 32bit and xbmc dharma on zotac zbox with external usb plextor bray player. )

I have tried passing the option --directio=false but the program starts with these options regardless:

xbmc@zotacchino:~/.xbmc$ makemkvcon --debug --directio=false stream disc:0
MakeMKV v1.6.12 linux(x86-release) started
Debug logging enabled, log will be saved as /home/xbmc/MakeMKV_log.txt
Using direct disc access mode

Am I doing something wrong?

Don't you think it is a power supply unit problem, which is not able to give enough power to 2 drives?
if every single movie on both **Unwanted Spam** the disks is working properly?

Well, as Roman SH have said here, if key is not the issue that you are dealing with, then it should definitely give you errors that are different to the ones that are caused by keys. Are you sure you get the same SEGFault and unable to open disc errors? Please retry the process and confirm it.
