Hi all,

hope to get some help. I am working of getting rid of Windows for good and therefore I try to get everything I need to work using Mate XFCE. A lot to learn so please bear with me if ask sth. obvious from the specialist side...

What I did is using the how-to here:

I compiled it and got not warnings, errors or similar.

BUT: I don't get it to run. How-to says: The application will be installed as "/usr/bin/makemkv". In that directory I can't find the this file; only a file named makemkvcon. Starting the latter (I am sure that is not the way to go) results in:
./makemkvcon: error while loading shared libraries: libmakemkv.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

/usr/bin/makemv is correct.

go back to the directions and make sure you build both packages: oss and bin.
