"Internal error - Input parameter is incorrect"

This isn't a fatal error, so it's not preventing me from backing up my discs, but I've noticed it on occasion on various discs. The offset varies, but the input parameter is consistent.
Does anyone know what this is? I assume the hash table checks mean that if it were actually producing a problem in the content, it'd be noticed, so I'm not super concerned, but I just want to know what it means.
