Failed to get full access to drive?

I run the version 1.14.7 on latest Ubuntu (believe 18).
I keep getting such messages:
Failed to get full access to drive "...". Make sure that you either have write access to device "/dev/sr1", are member of "cdrom" group or have CAP_SYS_RAWIO enabled.
I tried pretty much everything I know:
a. put myself in the cdrom group
b. change owner of the device to myself
c. set 0777 mode on the device
No avail. What am I doing wrong?
What do I need to do?
Thanks,
Zoran
