Hi there! Love the program, I'll definately buy this when I get myself a BD-rom. However, it's still very buggy under Linux. I've managed to rip one movie, and then it started to crash.
When trying to rip a DVD, the converter (not the gui) hogs up all memory (it looks like it's trying to copy the DVD onto memory?) and when it's full it crashes. Nothing in the logs indicate that there's something wrong, but monitoring the memory usage shows that the converter just keeps filling it up. This, of course, is not a problem if one has got over 4 gigs of memory, but I've got 1 GB which has been enough until today.
I've tried different settings: turning down the buffer, disable direct access, etc, to no avail.

The region code has nothing to do with this, since this error only appears on this disc where all other discs also fail.

Something is terribly wrong here. Do you see the same behavior if you use latest version 1.5.8 from command line or

I thought that there was no difference, but I rebooted to free up some memory and restarted a rip. Now it goes from 50% usage (system default) to around 82% and is pending on the marginals. But still, it should take 350 megs of RAM to simply copy a disc, should it?

Okay, I've managed to rip another DVD. The memory usage stayed around 80% even after the job. I had to quit the GUI to free up the memory. I'm trying to rip another one, to see if it crashes this time as well.
