makemkvcon (1.9.10) fails under F22; 100% cpu, no debug out

So makemkv and makemkvcon has been working flawlessly for the last few weeks. Took a break from my BD watching and now makemkvcon just spins away sucking up 100% cpu, --debug does nothing for me dumping to either stdout or a file. Wound up dropping to Windows and installing that version to grab a movie I picked up earlier so I could watch it on my F22 install later on but that is not a solution I want longterm (I only have Windows now as I had the key kicking around and I've got a few games that don't play nice with Wine when I have the time). Thoughts? Can upload any logs if anyone thinks it'll help.
