1.7.7 seems not working

Post by sakajah2 » Thu Aug 30, 2012 1:56 pm

Hi there,

I'm new to MakeMKV. When I tried with BD-ROM, it worked just fine.
However, with BD-R didn't work. BD-RE either. The version is 1.7.7.

More analytically, the makemkvcon fails with segmentation fault,
and makemkv says type is data.

I'm using Mitsubishi Blu-ray recorder and LG BD-RE BT10N under Ubuntu 12.04.

Any ideas?

1.7.7 is working just fine for me. iHBS112 over SATA, 3.5.3 kerenl.
Including strace output or a decoded coredump would be most helpful.

I appreciate for your kindness. I didn't get core file by executing makemkv.
I attach strace log for both makemkv and makemkvcon, and a core file by makemkvcon.

Thanks in advance.

It seems I missed the files. I get a warning message "The extension tracelog is not allowed."
How can I send you the files.

I also tried on win7. I have same error.
Have anyone succeeded to play BD-R which was recorded
by using any Mitsubishi recorders?
