The disc is the US version of Superman/Batman Apococylpese (ok, can't spell).
v.1.6.2 and v.1.6.3 on 64-bit Fedora 13.
fails to open this disc is one of three ways every time I retry...
1. on decrypting the MKB_RO, just hangs at 100% cpu... v1.6.2 I had to kill -9 the makemkvcon and makemkv gui processes from a terminal.
2. Repeatedly prints out the error: Error 'Scsi error - ILLEGAL REQUEST:COPY PROTECTION KEY EXCHANGE FAILURE - AUTHENTICATION FAILURE' occurred while issuing SCSI command A30..00200740100720..05CEF180FE1F398345CF81BF7FD7A3F2C81 to device 'SG:dev_11:0'
3. after spinning for a moment at various spots, just prints ou "Failed to open disc"
thanks.

This disc uses newer version of AACS protection. Please let us know about it by visiting http://www.makemkv.com/a/?JycnJyeanPlN+L...

disc IDs as AACS v17
no disk read errors anywhere in dmesg, so don't think the disc is bad.

This error is known to happen very rarely, on 64-bit fedora. The cause is unknown. Please see PM for details.
