[BUG] Makemkv frozen when running multiple copies

#1 Post by Mikemk » Tue Jul 21, 2015 2:03 am

I have multiple disc drives, so I always run two copies of makemkv (one on each drive).

However, in the latest release (1.9.4), the second and subqequent copies simply freeze when I hit the make mkv button. They'll read and scan disks just fine.

This of course causes batch rips (say 20-30 disks on average) take twice as long since I can only have one ripping at a time.

Linux Mint 17.2
Makemkv 1.9.4
Intel Core i5-750
8GB RAM
GeForce GTX 740
Generic internal SATA DVD drive
This is the external drive: http://www.lg.com/us/data-storage/lg-BE14NU40

Is there anything in the log before it locks up? Is this behavior new in 1.9.4 vs. 1.9.3, or was the previous version you were using older than that?

I previously ran 1.9.1, and no, whatever causes it to freeze is not written to the logs.
