Beta key expired loop

#1 Post by ucmeflyby » Sat Jan 31, 2015 4:08 am

I have been using MakeMKV on Peppermint but the beta key expired. I have entered the new key and restarted, but upon restarting I am notified that the key has expired, again. This looks like it could go on forever.
I have tried removing MakeMKV and reinstalling, but still get the same notification, over and over again.
What should my next step be?

Yep, I get a similar problem on v1.9.0 an v1.9.1

Despite putting in the latest key valid until March 2015, the program keeps deleting this key saying it has expired.

"Evaluation period has expired, shareware functionality unavailable."

Looks like MakeMKV is no longer free :-(

Same for me, but on Windows 7, MakeMKV 1.9.1, it opens the BD disc but when it starts to decrypt, exit with the message above.

Yeah, did the same thing and it works, though that's not quite ideal. :/

Where do you enter the new key?
I cannot find an option for it.

Looks like this :

app_Key = "<key_goes_here>"
