hi mkv team,
it is good to see such tool for linux.
i have installed mkv trail version, able to rip blu-ray discs and able to playback them
but our requirement is little different, is as
1. play blu-ray with out ripping (direct play on DISPLAY), like any other players
2. stream dvd content (RTP)
3. update player if require for new set of device keys
can you please support, how can we achieve above with makemkv tool ?
if we have solution, we are happy to buy license.
regards,
Nagendra
streaming using makemkv
Re: streaming using makemkv
Your requests are rather ambiguous.
1. "play blu-ray with out ripping (direct play on DISPLAY), like any other players" reads like you are wanting a player that understands bluray disks. MakeMKV is not a player. It CAN act as a replacement for a decoding library for other software, but that takes coordination with that other software.
2. It can only stream what is in the drive.
3. Again, MakeMKV isn't a player, and new keys require that you update MakeMKV.
