[FIXED] makemkvcon 1.9.0 : undefined symbol LIBM_pow

#1 Post by kayjo » Mon Dec 15, 2014 1:54 pm

I'll leave this here for a moment; but fixed.

There must have been some old 1.8.13 library floating around, a proper clean of custom library directories and we're working.

========= WAS ==============

Running Fedora 20.

Code: Select all

~ » makemkvcon info dev:/dev/sr1

MakeMKV v1.9.0 linux(x64-release) started
makemkvcon: symbol lookup error: makemkvcon: undefined symbol: LIBM_pow
With --debug this is happening so early there's nothing much of in the debug log.

Code: Select all

Debug log started at Mon Dec 15 13:30:29 2014 , written by MakeMKV v1.9.0 linux(x64-release)
Using 524544KB for read cache.
001005:0000 MakeMKV v1.9.0 linux(x64-release) started
001004:0000 Debug logging enabled, log will be saved as /home/kayjo/MakeMKV_log.txt
If I swap the binary for the copy from v1.8.13 linux(x64-release) that I've got it's running again.

could you give more details on how you cleaned the custom libraries?
get the same error message after upgrading from makmkv 1.8.3 to 1.9.1.
I deleted all files in /usr/share/MakeMKV as well ass the binaries for makemkv and makemkvcon, yet I still get the same error message.

which would be the old, redundant library file?

thanks!
