Ripping English Tracks by Command Line

#1 Post by brw02005 » Sun Feb 19, 2012 12:15 am

Is there any way to select specific tracks with makemkvcon. I made a script that selects the english tracks and I was going to strip them out with mkvmerge but the track numbers don't line up. I think makemkv counts forced subs as a second track or something. If somebody has this working with mkvmerge or some other tool feel free to post or link.

Thank you for your time.

I'm running stock Ubuntu but I'm also not afraid to compile from source if necessary.

As I mentioned in other thread, you have to write a profile with selection logic and specify profile on a command line.
