makemkv 1.6.7, Gentoo, and Qt 4.6.3

#1 Post by rainbowgoblin » Fri Apr 15, 2011 6:34 am

I'm running Gentoo, and discovered makemkv through this tutorial: http://linuxsolver.blogspot.com/2010/09 ... d-vlc.html

Sadly, although I get through the compilation steps, trying to run makemkv gives me the following error, then nothing:

Cannot mix incompatible Qt libraries
Aborted

I've got Qt 4.6.3 installed. Any tips?

Update: I got streaming working using makemkvcon (on the command line). I'm pretty happy with this solution, but it seems like VLC plays my movie in sort of slow motion. I think mplayer was OK, but there were some weird pixelation artefacts, and it seg faulted a few times (though I suspect I did something that made it unhappy).

Try to install the qt-devel packages. I got a little farther, but still not building.

I am using fedora 14.

Thanks
