Hi,
I have been "distrohopping" and whenever i install makemkv regardless if it is snap/flatpak, ppa or from source everytime on the first run when i change the default destination to semi-auto and home/user/videos folder. After either clicking apply or ok, makemkv will get freeze and crash. After closing it and running makemkv again then i can select semi-auto and the destination folder i want.
Makemkv crashes one first run when changing output folder
Re: Makemkv crashes one first run when changing output folder
Are you use videos or Videos? Remember that linux is case sensitive on filenames. At least with Ubuntu based distros, Videos is the correct directory.robojock wrote: ↑Thu Sep 10, 2020 4:05 pmHi,

Yes, I know that linux is case sensitive on filenames, I usually select the directory by clicking on the "folder" icon. But even typing out the path it will also cause it crash. Always on the first run, after that it works.
