Error trying to parse an iso file

I have a disc that Makemkv had difficulty reading (it would parse the contents, and I could select the titles, but it dies reading data from the DVD). So I ripped the DVD to my HD using k3b, and now I want to convert that to an mkv using MakeMkv (because it has a really good title detection algroithm)
But when I load the ISO, it starts parsing the chapters, then gets to the very end and fails before showing my the title list:

Please copy all IFO and BUP files from the disc into a folder. Then mount your ISO and copy all IFO and BUP files from there to another folder. Compress both folders and send to support@makemkv.com with a full debug log ( the one that was saved to file ) as it contains additional information.
