Program Idle - Still Uses 100% CPU

Post by jmassey »

Just installed v1.5.4 and launched it (running on Ubuntu 9.10 x64). Sitting idle it utilizes 100% of my CPU. Never done that before. Has anyone else noticed this?

Interesting. I verified that I had the proper dependencies before installing too.

Ubuntu 9.10 i486 here.

Doesn't bother me much, I'm moving to the 10.4 RC when it's released, if it still happens there I'll investigate more.

Interesting note, once I loaded a BD, CPU went back to normal. Seems that the CPU load only happens with the initial launch of the program.
